World Tilapia Conference

 
INFOPESCA, jointly with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Brazilian Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture (MPA) and the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro, are organizing the World Tilapia Conference. Market analysts with wide experience and representatives from the production and trade sector will give presentations on the main issues and recent developments for the global tilapia market. This event aims to continue the line of work from the World Tilapia Conference that took place in Kuala Lumpur in 2010, organized by INFOFISH. An exhibit of the sector will take place simultaneously.

The event will be carried out in the city of Rio de Janeiro, between September 16th and 18th, in the Conference Room of the Navy War School (Escola de Guerra Naval). It is located in one of the most alluring turistic sites of the city, on the seaside, at Praia Vermelha, near the Sugar Loaf Hill. The Conference Room has 500 places, all the facilities needed for the conference (air conditioning, simultaneous translation booths, multimedia equipment, etc.). The event will have simultaneous translation to Spanish / English / Portuguese
